Snowshoe Rental Application

Get out and explore all the County has to offer this Winter!

1. Rental Season is 'Whilst there is snow on the ground'.
2. Renters may pay the Rental Fee and provide a credit card pre-authorization, cheque or cash for the Security Deposit at the time of Pick Up.
3. The Security deposit may be withheld if the snowshoes are not returned in a timely fashion or if they are damaged during the course of the rental.
4. Pick up/Drop off is during regular hours at the Community Services Building, 10808 100 Ave Clairmont. Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 4:30 PM, closed from noon -1 PM.
5. $10.00 Rental fee per pair for daily rentals plus a $50.00 Refundable Security Deposit.
6. Daily rentals must be returned by 4:30 PM the day following the rental.
7. $15.00 Rental fee per pair for weekend rentals plus a $50.00 refundable Security Deposit.
8. Weekend rentals must be returned by 4:30 PM the Monday following the rental.
9. $50.00 Rental fee per pair for full week rental (7 days) plus a $50.00 refundable Security Deposit.
10. Full week rentals must be returned by 4:30 PM on last day of rental.
11. Snowshoes are available on a First Come, First Servced basis. You may get a larger size than you initially request.
12. Three sizes are available. Large - up to 300 lbs. Medium - up to 200 lbs. Small - up to 150 lbs.
13. Group rentals (more than 6 pairs) must be arranged separately by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at 780 532 9727.

The renter will be contacted to have their deposit returned within 10 business days of the rental once the snowshoes are inspected and found to be in acceptable condition. 

By entering your first and last name in the signature box, you do recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury to participants of outdoor physical activity. You voluntarily agree to assume full risk of any and all injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity, that you or anyone else that you choose to share the rented snowshes with may incur as a result of said participation.

By entering your first and last name in the signature box, you do hereby release the County of Grande Prairie from any and all claims for injuries, damages or loss that me or those that I may share the rented snowshoes with or which may accrue to me or those that I may share the rented snowshoes with arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with the activites we partake in while utilizing the rented snowshoes.

It will be used for the purposes of administering the program or service for which the information is collected.
